2016 CET & events launched

We are excited to launch our 2016 CET and events programme which will run throughout the country, in print and online, offering over 200 CET points during the first year of the new CET cycle.

Ian Beasley, AOP Head of Education, said that 2016 will be an innovative year for AOP education. He explained: “We are particularly excited about our Therapeutics London event - formerly London Education Destination - in September. This event provides a mix of seminars and workshops targeted for those who are IP qualified, contemplating taking this route, or simply wanting to broaden their clinical skill set. 2016 will also see an expansion of the popular Student Conference with third year students invited to join second year's with two separate streams of education tailored for each cohort”.

We will continue to offer our popular legal roadshows and peer discussion roadshows in 2016 with the added benefit of the opportunity post event discussion via the AOP community forums. Other 2016 events include career development workshops, the National Optical Conference (NOC) and 100% Optical, which will launch the programme in less than a month. OT will continue to offer CET in-print and online – with 6 new CET videos scheduled.
