The organiser of Vision Expo East and West, the Vision Council, has rebranded its event’s logo and tagline as it focuses on a new era for next year.
The new branding and tagline, “The future, clearly,” will be on display for the first time at Vision Expo East 2020, which takes place at the Javits Center in New York (26–29 March).
CEO of the Vision Council, Ashley Mills, said: “We are excited to invest in the growth and evolution of Vision Expo, and the industry at large. The show has always served as a discovery zone for innovative products and services, new technology and fashion trends, while simultaneously encouraging and challenging the industry.
“2020 provides unique significance in leading us into a vibrant future and we know the reimagination of Vision Expo will present the optical industry with the perfect platform to make that happen,” she added.
Organisers explained that the show will feature curated neighbourhoods in order to better connect buyers and sellers, as well as create enhanced exhibitor spaces.
Neighbourhoods include the River, which will feature “daring, design-driven artisanal products” from exhibitors such as Thierry Lasry, Linda Farrow and Garrett Leight. The Union will host boutique and premium independent brands such as Lafont, Ogi and Etnia Barcelona, while the Springs area will showcase new eyewear designers.
The Vision Council explained that further neighbourhoods will be added to the show in 2021.
