Registration for Vision Expo West 2019 has opened ahead of the show’s return to the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas on 18–21 September.
Event organiser, Reed Exhibitions, shared that the trade show will feature “new destinations, education courses and empowering panels.”
Event director at Reed Exhibitions, Joanne Mohr, said: “In this ever-evolving industry, we are proud that Vision Expo continues to be the ultimate destination for every member of the vision community to enhance their career and grow their business.”
“With new and innovative education, the latest medical technologies and an unrivalled buying experience, attendees will have the ability to design a show experience that fits their personal needs,” she added.
Following its launch at Vision Expo East in New York earlier this year (21–24 March), networking and learning area, the Bridge, will debut at Vision Expo West, with a full schedule of speakers and a boutique buyer panel.
Over 300 hours of education at the event will explore business strategies, fashion trends and medical innovations. A dedicated myopia track will look at the latest prevention methods and strategies, including an interactive myopia management session led by the Brien Holden Vision Institute.
Up to 15 hours of education for dispensing opticians, contact lens opticians and the wider practice team will be provided at OptiCon@Vision Expo.
The annual optometrist’s party will be held at TAO nightclub and the opening night party will be held at the Brooklyn Bowl.
