Opti 2020 will feature eyewear, contact lens, equipment and audiology exhibitors across six halls when it returns to Fairground Munich in Germany on 10–12 January.

Organisers of the trade show, GHM, also confirmed that education will feature in order for attendees to get “everything they need for a successful year of business.”

Chairman of GHM, Dieter Dohr, said: “It is the perfect start to the year, bringing the entire industry together, which looks forward to it with anticipation.”

Specialist lectures will take place in hall C4 at the Opti Forum, while Opti Showcase will provide an “interactive discovery” area that focuses on a key industry topic.

Speaking about Opti Showcase, Opti project manager, Bettina Reiter, said: “It should look to the future, offering new ideas and proposals. After the highly digital depiction of the customer journey at Opti 2019, it will be a more emotional topic this time.”

Eyewear companies will be exhibiting in halls C1 to C3, as well as in C5 with equipment suppliers. Contact lenses, IT, refraction and diagnostic equipment will be showcased in C6, while hall C4 will focus on business, shop fittings and accessories.
