SightCare announces conference keynote
The two-day event will take place at Telford International Centre in September
Business group SightCare has announced the keynote speakers for its annual two-day conference.
Themed Powering change, the event will take place at Telford International Centre on 15–16 September.
Speakers include founder of Ecademy, Penny Power; associate fellow at Said Business School at the University of Oxford, Alan Giles; and previous director of in-flight services for Virgin Atlantic, Linda Moir.
During the first day of the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in roundtable workshops that will be led by independent business owners.
Day two of the event will focus on a masterclass programme featuring 12 sessions delivered by a range of industry suppliers.
Speaking about the conference, SightCare chief executive, John French, said: “Using our 2019 conference as a conduit, we want to help independent practices remain relevant, competitive and profitable.”
“This year’s event will help delegates understand why they will need to continue to adapt and strengthen their customer service and relationships if they are to meet the new challenges that lie ahead,” he added.
An exhibition will also run alongside the conference.
