Opti 2019 will feature a new lecture series on contact lenses when the trade show returns to Fairground Munich in Germany on 25–27 January.
The Keen on contact lenses lecture series has been organised by the Spectaris contact lens group and will take place at the Opti Forum in hall C4.
Taking place on all three days of the trade show, the lecture series will focus on myopia management on Friday, industry impulses on Saturday and professional follow-up inspections on Sunday.
Around 50 contact lens companies are currently signed up to exhibit in hall C6, including Alcon, CooperVision, Bausch + Lomb, and Menicon.
Organisers of the event said that the number of people wearing contact lenses is increasing throughout Europe, but with numbers of users varying from country to country, Opti explained that the potential of contact lenses has not yet been fully exploited.
