Differentiation on the agenda at SightCare conference

The event in September will highlight the importance of making a practice stand out from the crowd

SightCare conference

SightCare will ask attendees to ‘think different’ at its interactive two-day conference, which will be held at the Telford International Centre on 16–17 September.

Featuring a total of 16 speakers and an exhibition with over 40 suppliers, the event programme will focus on differentiation and the customer experience.

Chief executive of SightCare, John French, said: “Independent practice owners who understand the benefits of working on their business rather than in their business will enjoy two days of inspiring keynote speakers.”

The peer review and discussion CET workshop programmes are designed for independent practice owners and their staff, with sessions on social media marketing and creating a memorable spectacle collection.

The keynote speech will be delivered by chief executive and founder of Checkatrade, Kevin Bryne, who will discuss the power of referral and his tradesman directory service.

Closing the event will be co-founder of Green & Black’s, Josephine Fairley, with Thinking different to build a great business.

The conference will also feature a new business clinic area, which delegates can book for expert advice to help them grow their business, save money and make the most of their membership.

SightCare will also present five awards for the first time in recognition of independent spirit at an informal networking evening on the Sunday.
