Kate Renwick-Espinosa is named president of VSP Vision Care

Membership healthcare organisation, VSP Global has announced the appointment of Kate Renwick-Espinosa as president of VSP Vision Care from 1 October.

Ms Renwick-Espinosa, who is currently global chief marketing officer for VSP, will take up the position as Jim McGrann stands down from the role to become CEO of VSP Global. 

Ms Renwick-Espinosa has worked for VSP for over 23 years, and has served as VSP Global’s first chief marketing officer since 2010. In this role, she leads the organisation’s global marketing strategy to deliver its products and services to a diverse client base, as well as more than 75 million members and 32,000 doctors.

The company states that Ms Renwick-Espinosa’s marketing and communications strategies have resulted in historic domestic membership growth, as well as the international expansion of its offerings in the UK, Ireland, Australia and Canada.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr McGrann said: “At this critical juncture in VSP’s history, it’s imperative for the organisation to have a leader that can navigate the complexities of the eye care sector while possessing a keen understanding of VSP and its mission. 

“Kate is a trusted partner. Her focus on developing marketing and business strategies to both grow and maintain membership has been instrumental to the success of VSP.”
