CET grant claims on hold due to processing error

The AOP has alerted NHS England to a processing error in the CET grant payment for 2021-2022, following feedback from members.

At present, payments are being received by contractors at last year’s rate of £584 rather than this year’s rate of £596.

The AOP understands from NHS England that Primary Care Support England has identified the cause of the problem and will be implementing a fix as soon as possible.

While the problem is being resolved, NHS England is asking contractors to refrain from submitting any claims until further notice.

NHS England has confirmed that it will also be working to resolve potential payment issues for those contractors who have already submitted claims.
