Mydrilate 0.5% eye drops recalled

Intrapharm Laboratories have advised healthcare professionals to stop supplying a batch of Mydrilate 0.5% Eye Drops 5ml

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has announced the recall of a batch of Mydrilate 0.5% Eye Drops 5ml.

The precautionary measure has been taken after out-of-specification results for related substances were found during stability testing of the product.

The affected batch is YE096 with an expiry date of March 2022. The product was first distributed on 6 July 2020.

Healthcare providers are advised to stop supplying the above batch of eye drops immediately.

All remaining supply should be quarantined and returned to the supplier using the supplier’s approved process.
