Moorfields to hold course on referral refinement
Event for optometrists on referring accurately into hospital eye service

Moorfields Eye Hospital is holding a three–day intensive CET course for optometrists on referral refinement.
The course is from 11–13 October and is aimed at optometrists who wish to develop their knowledge and skill set to accurately refer patients into the hospital eye service. Up to 22 CET points will be available.
The event will include didactic lectures given by leading ophthalmologists in the field on referral refinement over a range of areas including A&E, paediatrics, glaucoma, cataract and age-related macular degeneration.
The course will also include practical workshops on Goldmann tonometry and Volk fundoscopy.
The course fee includes course materials, lunch and refreshments and is £625 for registration by 11 September and £650 thereafter.
