The service is a vital lifeline for when practitioners need to talk

The AOP’s Peer Support Line is recruiting practitioners to join as volunteers.

Volunteering requires two days a month to take calls from home and provide a supportive space for fellow professionals to talk about their worries.

The AOP highlighted that the service is a vital lifeline when practitioners have no other place to turn.

The Peer Support Line is a confidential, free-phone helpline for individuals to discuss their problems, such as workplace pressure, bullying and ill health.

The deadline for applications is 14 February and training will take place at the AOP’s London offices on 25 March. For further information, visit the AOP website.
