A glimpse into 2020 and beyond

The Future Practice Hub at 100% Optical will have a new look and programme

100 percent optical guests
100% Optical will see the practice hub of tomorrow come to life in an innovative feature area for 2020, according to organisers of the event, which takes place at ExCeL London on 25–27 January.

The Future Practice Hub will provide show visitors with the opportunity to see how practitioners can evolve in the coming years, from clinical, regulatory and professional perspectives.

It will feature a consulting room, diagnostic suite and dispensing area with tailored CET in each space through discussion and skills workshops.

The area is sponsored by Luneau Technology, Zeiss, Birmingham Optical, Charmant and Johnson & Johnson.

Sessions include Seeing beyond: Innovations and solutions for retina, which is being presented by Darren Hargreaves and Lyn Millbank from Zeiss, and Efficacious screening for dry eye, which will be presented by Dr David Pinero and Pascal Retif from Luneau Technology.

Event director Nathan Garnett, said: “By working in partnership with the AOP, coupled with media support from OT, we are able to develop and curate a show designed for optical professionals, by the very people we are looking to attract.”
