100% Optica

Eyewear, equipment and lens exhibitors have shared their plans for 100% Optical 2019, which will take place at ExCeL London on 12–14 January.

100% Optical event director, Nathan Garnett, said: “Our exhibitor floor always bustles with product debuts, equipment demos, networking and deals being done. With 30 new exhibitors already on-board, 100% Optical 2019 promises to take this to another level with an even wider choice of optical brands to visit under one roof.”

Andy Wolf Eyewear will showcase its Modern Retro campaign for its White Heat collection of frames. Styles in the range are designed to show nature and technology coming together, which is reflected through model details, such as an acetate nose bridge and a fine metal frame.

Birmingham Optical has several launches planned from its brands, including Nidek, Oculus, Frastema and Keeler. The equipment company’s support team will also be on hand to discuss enhancing patient experience, workflow and practice layouts.

Eyespace will launch its designer collection of men’s sunglasses from the Range Rover brand. The luxury eyewear range combines British fashion with Japanese craftsmanship and has been developed in collaboration with the car company’s global design team.

Heidelberg Engineering will reintroduce its Love your OCT guarantee, which provides a one-year warranty with a training and marketing package, alongside the opportunity to purchase a refurbished Sprectalis device.

Tokai UK will showcase its range of custom made lenses and coatings for independents. New launches include the Lutina and Wolf cub package, which is designed for children up to the age of 16. The package provides a frame and either a 1.50 or 1.60 AS stock lens plus glazing, as well as postage and packaging.

Shamir has an exclusive launch planned and will also be showcasing its range of lens coatings. The launch is a result of ongoing research and development to identify dangers that we are collectively unaware of, Shamir revealed.
