The event will provide pre-regs preparing for the examinations with the chance to practise under exam conditions

The AOP and the University of Bradford’s school of optometry and vision science will co-host an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) refresher course this summer for the second time.

Taking place at the university on 26 June, the course is designed for pre-reg students preparing to sit the final examination.

It will give pre-regs the opportunity to experience a variety of OSCE stations, under exam conditions and receive feedback on their performance.

There will also be practical tutorial sessions and a group session to outline how to prepare for the OSCE format of the final assessment.

Feedback from previous delegates said the event had been “very helpful and encouraging” and helped them feel “much more confident.”
