Registration opens for 100% Optical

Practitioners can now register to attend the 2016 London show

100% Optical display
Registration has opened today for practitioners wishing to attend 100% Optical in 2016.
Returning to London’s ExCeL Exhibition Centre for its third consecutive year on February 6–8, organisers of the show have promised a “knock-out experience at Europe’s fastest growing optical trade event.”

Well-known names such as De Rigo Vision, Hoya, Charmant and Specsavers have been confirmed as first-time exhibitors.

Organiser Media 10 will again use its tried and tested exhibition floor layout, dividing the floor into four main areas: Eyewear, Equipment and Machinery, Lenses and Business Services. The Contact Lens hub will also return next year, with organisers adding that visitors should expect “new and exciting fashion shows,” as well as a revamped central bar so visitors can make the most of networking opportunities.

The AOP is currently designing a comprehensive education programme to run throughout the three-day event which in the past has seen more than 100 hours of seminars across eight themed streams.

Commenting on the 2016 show, 100% Optical event director, Nathan Garnett told OT: “It is amazing to think how 100% Optical has grown from a standing start to Europe’s fastest growing optical event. It has achieved this in just three years with 20% growth in exhibitors and visitors each year, making it the must attend event now.

“We could not have achieved that without the support of the manufacturers and suppliers and, of course, the AOP and its members. 100% Optical is very much designed for the profession, and that strategy has worked a treat.”

Fight for Sight has been named as charity partner of the show for a second year, with the return of its awareness and fund raising campaign #BlinkWinkThink.
