OT  and Optocoach Instagram giveaway

Terms and Conditions (July 2021)

  1. The giveaway opens on Tuesday 6 July 2021 and will close on Tuesday 20 July 2021 at 23:59
  2. All entrants must adhere to the ‘How to enter’ guidelines post on OT’s and Optocoach’s giveaway post
  3. The giveaway is open nationally and internationally to all members of the optical community. This includes optometrists, optometry students, pre-reg optometrists and practice team members
  4. Multiple entries are permitted. Each tag of another Instagram account counts as one entry
  5. The winner will be selected at random using a randomiser tool
  6. The giveaway prize is one UB4 trial frame worth approximately £399 (excluding VAT), which will be sent via UK or International Tracked and/or Signed for delivery
  7. The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and there is no cash alternative
  8. All entrants accept that Optocoach and OT may use their data in order to contact them in relation to the giveaway
  9. All employees of Optocoach, the Association of Optometrists, OT and regular contributors of OT are excluded from winning the competition prize. This includes any family members
  10. Optocoach and OT takes no responsibility for loss, delay or damage incurred as a result of entering this giveaway
  11. Optocoach and OT are not responsible for any technical issues (or other) that impede an entrants’ entry being submitted correctly and/or in full by the deadline stated
  12. Optocoach and OT is not responsible for any changes in Instagram profiles or additional information at the time of entering the giveaway
  13. Under no circumstances will Optocoach and OT be held liable for any information relating to the giveaway which is accessed via third party websites or homepages that do not coincide with the original information or terms and conditions
  14. The winner will be contacted and announced within one month of the closing date
  15. If the winner fails to respond within five business days of the first notification, the winner will forfeit their right to claim the prize and a new winner will be selected at random
  16. Optocoach and OT will not be responsible for incorrect data entry when participating in the giveaway
  17. If the winner is unable to claim the prize for any reason, Optocoach and OT reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner. Optocoach and
  18. OT will not be liable to reimburse the first winner with any prize in any capacity
  19. Optocoach and OT does not accept any responsibility for any liabilities, damage, disappointment, injury, death or loss incurred as a result of participating in the giveaway or accepting the prize. Optocoach will only engage in liabilities that are not exempt by law and will only be limited to the minimum permissible by law
  20. Optocoach and OT reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of the giveaway without any notice
  21. The giveaway is not affiliated or sponsored by Instagram in any capacity
  22. The organiser of the giveaway is Optocoach and OT. All complaints in relation to the giveaway should be emailed to [email protected] or [email protected] and contact will be made within five business days.
