Specsavers has opened a new practice in Tottenham, offering eye care and audiology services to the local community.

The new store is run by directors Aayan Gunasingam, Anar Desai and Archana Kanabar. It will provide digital precision eye care technology, which measures facial features to ensure that spectacles have the best suited lenses for the customers’ needs.

Optometrist Mr Gunasingam, said: “We are very committed to providing local people with a high level of professional service to meet their healthcare needs, and also fashionable – and even designer – frames at an affordable price.”

The practice includes four eye examination testing rooms and a hearing service. Eyewear brands stocked include Balmain, Kylie Mingogue Eyewear and Cath Kidston.

The official store opening event on 18 November featured the Specsavers dancing grannies from its TV advert, and former mayor of Haringey, councillor Eddie Griffith.
