Black & Lizars establishes a corporate eye care package
24 February 2017
Scottish optical group Black & Lizars has launched a corporate eye and hearing care package, which aims to “bring its professional service to companies across Scotland.”
The package includes four key elements, the company explained. It includes an extension of the company’s successful patient loyalty scheme, the Black Card, industrial safety, visual display unit assessments and a domiciliary service.
The launch of the corporate scheme follows the appointment of Nisith Nathwani, who joined the company as commercial manager at the end of 2016 and has led on the initiative.
Speaking about the establishment of the scheme, Mr Nathwani explained: “We have identified a significant corporate market, in which companies are keen to offer the high levels of professional care available at Black & Lizars to their senior management and staff.
He added: “We are prepared for a surge in new business as a result of the new corporate package – our existing branches across Scotland will be able to accommodate this, but we have the capability to expand our premises if necessary.”
As part of the corporate push, the company is also introducing a tailored sports package specialising in prescription eyewear for people engaged in activities such as swimming, diving, cycling, skiing and golf.
Marketing initiatives will target major sports and leisure clubs throughout the UK, Black & Lizars confirmed.
