Multiple practice receives £500k upgrade
Specsavers branch is officially reopened by star of the multiple’s comedy fitness advert
15 February 2017
Specsavers in Milton Keynes has reopened following a £500,000 revamp.
The practice has benefited from a complete refurbishment, with three additional sight test rooms added and a revamp of two audiology rooms. The store has also upgraded its customer-facing facilities and features the multiple’s latest eye care and retail technology, such as Digital Precision Eyecare.
Officially reopened on 28 January, the launch was attended by actress and Zumba instructor, Hayley-Jo Whitney, who featured in the multiple’s comical fitness advert. Staff used the event as a fundraising opportunity and have donated over £200 to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
The store is owned by Steve Moore, Rajesh Shah and Callum Biggs as part of a joint venture partnership with Specsavers. Speaking about the refit, store director, Steve Moore, said: “We hope that the additional testing space will make the lives of our local customers a little easier as we are now able to offer more appointments. In fact, we are now carrying out 550 sight tests per week.”
