CrossEyesDanish opticians CrossEyes is set to open a fifth practice in the UK in January.

The new practice will be based in Marylebone and will be run by optometrist and franchisee Panos Nicolaou, alongside his wife Marianne, who also heads up the group’s Clerkenwell practice.

The Clerkenwell practice was the first CrossEyes branch to open in the UK almost two years ago.

Speaking ahead of the opening, Mr Nicolaou said: “We have had our eye on York Street in Marylebone for a long time, and are very pleased that we can now claim this location as part of our portfolio. The store is within a listed building and will look great amongst the other boutique shops and restaurants on the predominantly Georgian street in Marylebone.”

The CEO of CrossEyes, Søren Møller, confirmed that to mark the opening, the company will launch 25 new frame styles, “with designs that resonate with minimalist Nordic interior,” he said.

Mr Møller added: “The frames will have warm colours for the winter and a little portion of spring as a teaser for what is to come in the following months. All frames are of course limited edition and exclusively available in CrossEyes stores.”
