Specsavers in Islington has received a £160,000 refurbishment which coincides its seventh anniversary. Through the revamp ,the practice has benefited from the latest technology and two additional test rooms, which allow the practice to perform an additional 300 eye examinations a week.

Staff celebrated the occasion by hosting a family fundraising day which raised more than £150 for local mental health charity, Islington Mind.

Store director of Specsavers Islington, Bansi Sagar, said: “We’ve been providing eye care in the community for the past seven years and now £160,000 has been invested into the store to provide an even better experience for our customers. We’re thrilled with the generosity of the local community for raising much-needed funds for Islington Mind – a charity close to all of our hearts.”
