New partner at Haine and Smith
Wiltshire independent announces the appointment of new partner Thom Pears

Optometrist Thom Pears has been made a partner at independent opticians Haine & Smith. He is the ninth member of the group’s board, which includes four optometrists and three dispensing opticians.
Mr Pears joined Haine & Smith as an IT technician in 2006. He currently holds the position of technical director overseeing the information systems in the opticians’ 19 practices, glazing laboratory and head office.
Commenting on the appointment, senior partner at Haine & Smith, Barry Smith, said: “We are so fortunate that Thom has agreed to become a partner. He is an IT wizard and will be a great asset to the partnership.”
