Eyewear brand, Silhouette, has announced plans to launch a digital showroom in March to allow partners to engage with the brand and view products virtually.

As well as viewing Silhouette’s latest products, business partners will be able to engage with interactive content and information on the brand and its services.

Practices will also be able to receive personal consultations with the brand, guided by their Silhouette business manager.

“Now partners can interact with the brand from the comfort of their own practice, with no need for travelling. A crucial aspect for staying in contact in times of social distancing and challenging business,” the company shared in a statement.

The launch of the showroom follows the introduction of Silhouette’s Virtual Try-On tool in December 2020. The tool enables customers to try on a variety of glasses online, also directing them to their local practice stocking Silhouette frames. The service will now be linked with the digital showroom.

A final section of the platform will be focused around the company’s lens, frames and service package – 100% Silhouette.

Announcing the showroom, the company suggested the launch marks a milestone in the company’s digital transformation, suggesting, “this is only the beginning.”

Silhouette chief marketing officer, Michael Schmied, commented: “It’s never been so easy for our business partners to digitally immerse in the Silhouette brand environment to explore our latest premium products. And with one-on-one consultations, it’s a tailored overall service.”
