The eyewear company, Marcolin Group, has appointed a new marketing manager as part of its renewal process.

Roberta Viganò has been appointed to the role of marketing communication manager, and will be responsible for the global communication activities of the group’s brands, which include brands such as Tom Ford, Adidas Originals and Sport, Bally, Moncler and Max Mara.

Ms Viganò will also be responsible for supervising the PR, media planning and buying and digital communication, “with the aim of strengthening the communication strategy and presence of the brands in our portfolio at a global level.”

Most recently, Ms Viganò held the role of head of communications and marketing EMEA at Bally. In her new role, Ms Viganò will report to the marketing, communication and events director, Matteo Blandi.

In a statement, the company shared: “Roberta has extensive experience in communications, consolidated over the years in the fashion and luxury industry.”

The company added that the new appointment forms a part of Marcolin Group’s “renewal process,” which began with the appointment of Fabrizio Curci, as group CEO.

Mr Curci took on the leadership of the company in June 2020, with group chairman, Vittorio Levi, commenting at the time that the new CEO would “lead our business into its new phase of development.”

This was followed by the appointment of Alessandro Beccarini as style and product development director in September, reporting directly to the CEO.
