Jeremy Hackett at 100% Optical 2020
OT speaks to Jeremy Hackett about the launch of the brand’s new Signature collection
“There are few things that men can wear without being overdressed; they can wear cufflinks, they can wear a nice watch…and they can wear glasses,” the founder of fashion brand Hackett London, Jeremy Hackett, told OT at 100% Optical last month.
The designer, who has been working with Mondottica “for a number of years,” was at the three-day London trade show to discuss the brand’s new Signature frame collection, which was inspired by his own cufflinks.
The frames are made from Japanese acetate, with titanium options also available in the collection. “We are using the best products and the best manufacturing to create these frames,” Mr Hackett told OT.
The designs, which are interchangeable from optical to sun, contain an arm detail featuring Mr Hackett’s initials, highlighting that the frames have been curated by the founder himself.
100% Optical 2021 will be held at ExCeL on 23–25 January.
