OT ’s pick of the frames putting topline designs in the spotlight
17 February 2020
Topline frames are back in vogue. So-called because the top of the frame starts as a design or pattern then blends into a solid colour, these conversation-starting styles are super-flattering. They draw the eye upwards and away from the undereye area. It’s time to get involved.
Head-turner
Expect eye-catching side detail from La Matta, which echoes the detail on the brow. Available in several different head-turning colourways, including this turquoise with matching side detail.

Monochrome cool
Feminine, modern, sophisticated; the Koali frame from Morel is for women who want to stand out in a crowd. Its striking monochrome eyebrows contrast beautifully with the soft gold of the rest of the frame.

Leopard print
This glamorous Blumarine soft-square topline frame is finished in rose-gold metal. It features stylish leopard print embellishment on its front and sides, and the iconic Blumarine logo detailing on the side tips.

Lizzy's style notes...
Each month, OT columnist, Lizzy Yeowart, consider a classic dispensing scenario. This month: eyewear solutions for skiers.
Lizzy says...
"There’s no reason why functional eyewear can’t look stylish. When it comes to cool ski options, offer an option for goggles, and the other for wraparound-frame lovers."
Big on attitude
Moncler’s oversize design delivers the utmost performance, while conveying a contemporary attitude. The inside features a neoprene structure to reduce fogging. The branded elastic band ensures that goggles and helmet fit seamlessly.
