VIU appoints CMO
Mario Muttenthaler joined the Swiss eyewear brand in May

Swiss eyewear brand VIU has appointed a chief marketing officer to develop the company’s marketing strategy and lead its marketing, communications and e-commerce teams.
Mario Muttenthaler joined VIU in May from footwear brand Swear where he was managing director. He has previously held senior positions at lastminute.com, Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter.
CEO and co-founder of VIU, Kilian Wagner, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mario to our ranks as CMO. His experience and know-how will be an invaluable resource as we take VIU to new heights and create a truly differentiated brand experience for VIU customers.”
Speaking about his appointment, Mr Muttenthaler, said he is excited to join VIU and help build a global brand.
“VIU’s visionary and ambitious leadership team sparked my interest from our first meeting. VIU has huge potential, with the customer at its core offering high quality product with a unique design aesthetic,” he added.
