Police to launch Lewis Hamilton eyewear collection

The De Rigo brand has partnered with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport

De Rigo’s lifestyle brand Police has partnered with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport and will launch an eyewear collection with five-time Formula 1 world champion, Lewis Hamilton.

The agreement sees Police become an official supplier of the Formula 1 team, with the brand’s spectacles and sunglasses to be worn by its drivers and race team.

The Police logo will feature on both sides of the drivers’ helmets, in the pit garage and on the team’s marketing activities.

Executive vice president of De Rigo, Massimo De Rigo, said: “Our determination to work with Lewis Hamilton as both a brand ambassador and designer presented a unique opportunity to join Police to the sports world once again. We are proud to be partnering with the strongest team in one of the most popular sports in the world.”

Team principal and CEO of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport, Toto Wolff, added: “We’re delighted to partner with a brand that embodies high quality and attention to detail – two characteristics that are incredibly important in our sport.”
