Two new Murano Eyewear frames have been created using 3D printing and artisan Italian manufacturing techniques
03 May 2019
Murano Eyewear has launched two new spectacles for women that combine “modern design” and “classic elegance.”
The eyewear company explained that ‘Marcella’ (pictured) and ‘Valeria’ have been created using 3D printing and artisan Italian manufacturing techniques.
Each style features over 80 hand-set Swarovski crystals that appear on the inside and outside of the frame.
Director of Murano Eyewear, Alberto Da Rin, said: “Our design process and inspiration are somewhat intertwined. We wanted to create a frame that would make the end user feel beautiful on the inside and out. I think we have achieved this with the stones appearing on the inside and out while using 3D printing to make the mould that would allow people to view these stones from all angles.”
