Westward Leaning has collaborated with Olivia Palermo on an exclusive eyewear collection.
The three frames, which were designed by the fashion entrepreneur, feature never before used metals, plant-based biodegradable acetate and custom two-tone colour combinations.
Inspired by and named after global destinations such as Mayfair in London, Moore Street in the Tribeca district of New York and Seaspray in Palm Beach, the company described the sunglasses as an “essential fashion accessory for spring 2019.”
10% of the net profits of the sale of the collection will be donated to the not-for-profit organisation, Dress for Success, whose mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence.
Describing the collaboration, a spokesperson for Westward Leaning said: “As an international style authority and fashion entrepreneur, Olivia understands first-hand the impact that style and one’s wardrobe can have on self-confidence, especially as it relates to the professional world.”
“The Westward Leaning and Olivia Palermo donation will not only provide additional resources for women in need to obtain professional attire but will also help fund the network of support and development tools that the Dress for Success organisation offers,” the company highlighted.
