Dunelm Optical has restructured its senior management team with Oliver Beaumont taking over responsibility for the day-to-day running of the company from David Baker.

Following the passing of CEO Peter Beaumont last year, Dunelm Optical has decided to focus on the family aspect of the company.

The company explained that with Oliver Beaumont at the helm of the company as director of product development and sales, it has become a second-generation family business.

Mr Beaumont said: “The Dunelm Optical brand and the Beaumont family are inseparable, well known and well respected throughout the industry for service, quality and value. I am proud to be following in my father’s footsteps and I hope that one day my son will take up the reins after me.”

Managing director, David Baker, leaves the company as part of the restructure. He said that he was “honoured” to have been a part of Dunelm Optical’s continued success.

“With such a well-established reputation, I have no doubt the company will be even more successful for many generations to come,” he added.

Dunelm Optical thanked Mr Baker for his hard work and commitment over the last three years.
