De Rigo launched a collection of spectacles and sunglasses from its new license brand, Mulberry, at 100% Optical (12–14 January).

Frames feature the fashion brand’s tree logo, which on some styles can be found engraved on the tips with a ‘Mulberry green’ line.

Models such as the acetate ‘Le Style Anglais’ feature the brand’s logo on a metal plaque along the sides. Other frames, such as the ‘New Perspective,’ are made from an acetate and metal combination and are available in “unusual” shapes.

Speaking to OT at 100% Optical, trade marketing manager at De Rigo, Hannah Alley, said: “The collection is extremely commercial. Mulberry is known for its detailing, which is really prevalent across the collection. It is surprisingly affordable as well.”
