Sport and lifestyle eyewear brand, Bollé, is supporting AG2R La Mondiale at the Tour de France (7–29 July) by providing the ‘Shifter’ sunglass model to the cycling team.

Team captain Romain Bardet will lead AG2R wearing the “retro-futuristic” frame, which is based on the design of Bollé’s ‘Chrono Shield’ model.

The sunglasses feature curved arms to ensure stability and a larger shield made of NXT material to provide a wide field of vision and optical clarity.

‘Shifter’ also features frontal air vents to prevent fogging and have undergone hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment to ensure water droplets roll off the frames and dirt is repelled.

Officially launching in September, ‘Shifter’ will be available with prescription lenses and in seven colour options, including colours to match the AG2R team colours.
