The new autumn/winter 2018 collection from MonkeyGlasses grew out of gratitude and is made with environmentally friendly materials
10 July 2018
MonkeyGlasses has launched the Gratitude collection, its autumn/winter 2018 range of spectacles made from cotton fibres and stainless steel.
CEO and designer at the eyewear company, Mai-Britt Seaton, explained that the creation of the frames grew out of an appreciation of all the things around her that she loves.
Ms Seaton, said: “The Gratitude collection is characterised by its thin lines and dusty colourful expressions. It is inspired by people I am grateful to have met, colours, textures and smells that calms my mind and makes me happy.”
The collection of rimless shapes and softly graduated coloured lenses was designed with environmentally friendly materials.
“My eyewear designs may not change the world, but my hope is, that our products and stories will act as little green seeds, that will grow, and help our customers to become more conscious consumers.” Ms Seaton added.
