Enrico Furlan has been appointed as the new creative director of De Rigo Vision.

After joining the company in 2016 as house brand creative director for Police, Sting and Lozza, he will now be responsible for the creative direction of all the brands in the De Rigo portfolio.

Mr Furlan will supervise and coordinate the development of all the brand collections, working closely with the internal product department and creative departments of the licensed brands to develop collections that retain the identity of each individual brand.

Executive vice president and head of operations of De Rigo, Massimo De Rigo, said: “Over the last two years, we have appreciated Enrico’s excellent work with the Sting, Police and Lozza house brands. That’s why we have decided to entrust him with the creative direction of all the brands in the portfolio.”

Mr Furlan has previously worked with eyewear companies such as Safilo and leading fashion brands such as Prada and Dolce & Gabbana, in which he oversaw the design of the eyewear line for over seven years.

The new 2019 collections will be launched in late June at Barcelona Sunday, and at Silmo, which takes place in Paris on 28 September to 1 October.
