Neubau Eyewear has launched Sigmund & Carl, a range of frames inspired by the style of psychoanalysts Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung.
The brand, which was established by Silhouette, explained that it has merged Freud’s preference for a thicker, polymer frame with a metal style as worn by Jung to create sunglasses that pay tribute to their forward-thinking methods.
The Sigmund & Carl collection is a range of light and flexible frames made from titanium, stainless steel and naturalPX – a sustainable material made from the oil of ricin plants.
Colour options include black matte and gold, white matte and rose or black matte and silver.
Neubau has also extended its sustainability ethos to its spectacle cases, which are made from cellulose material without the use of harmful glues. Its cleaning cloths are made from recycled plastic bottles.
