Serengeti has launched 'Livio' in its Nylon Rubber collection of sunglasses, which features a lens designed to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations.
Frames in the collection feature coloured, double injected rubber and nylon TR90 on the arm tips and nose pads to provide stability and comfort.
'Livio' is paired with the eyewear company's mineral glass lenses, which are 20% thinner and lighter than a conventional glass lens, according to Serengeti.
Available in four tints and in prescription, the lens is chemically tempered to provide scratch and impact resistance, as well as offering photochromic, spectral control and polarising technology.
