Scorpion Eyewear showcased the latest offering from its Tonny sports sunglasses collection at 100% Optical.
Frames, such as ‘TS9298,’ are made from plastic polymer TR 90, which the Polish eyewear company said allows for an easy fit to every face shape.
An applied glass fibre in the production of the nose pads helps prevent imprints on the user’s nose. Cellulose triacetate lenses provide scratch resistance and polarised filters.
Lenses in models such as the ‘TS9289’ and ‘TS9290’ are made from polycarbonate, which is the same material used for astronaut helmets to provide resistance. The material makes the lenses “10 times more durable than standard lenses,” the company said.
