Mondottica will debut its new Sandro eyewear styles at Silmo 2017

Sandro launch

Mondottica has announced the launch of its Sandro eyewear range, which will debut at Silmo in Paris (6–9 October) and be made available to practitioners in early 2018.

The company revealed that Sandro for men will fuse sharp tailoring with Parisian street style while Sandro for women “strikes a balance between femininity and modernity.”

The men’s Sandro sunglasses collection “is built on a classic palette of black and grey, offset with tortoiseshell and crystal highlights.” This is contrasted by the women’s collection, which features a bold colour palette.

Mondottica highlighted the ’SD500’ model, which has a retro-inspired round frame and lamination detail that creates a geometric line along the arms and on the tips.

An optical range is also set to be launched, which includes the ‘SD100’ angular-shaped model for men. The oversized frame features a cut-away bridge with a deep inside bevel.

The company also highlighted the lightweight ‘SD4000’ model for women, which is a round frame with bespoke nose pads and fine metal arms.
