Norville Group has announced the launch of its new prescription sun lens – the Younger Optics Nupolar Infinite Grey.

The company explained that the Nupolar Infinite Grey “offers the widest possible range of light transmittance while always maintaining 99% polarisation efficiency, therefore not compromising the blocking of blinding glare.”

The lens has 35% light transmittance in its lightest state, and when fully activated lens transmittance reaches 9% transmission.

Nupolar Infinite Grey is available in 76mm 1.50 index across single vision, HD SV, IRS bifocal and free-form progressive lens options.

Norville’s new lens also allows application of anti-reflective or mirror coatings, which the company said does not compromise photochromic performance.
