Specsavers launches emoji glasses
The multiple is offering a new collection of children’s frames
03 August 2017
Specsavers has launched a new collection of children’s glasses to coincide with the release of The Emoji Movie.
The range of four emoji-inspired frames are gender-neutral for children aged four to 10, and feature ‘twist and turn’ emojis on the arms for customisation. Each frame comes with single-vision lenses, including an added UV filter for protection.
Optometrist and Specsavers’ clinical head of glasses, Russell Peake, said: "To help ensure the most comfortable and best fit, we develop our children's frames to complement a child's different facial parameters. It is also just as important that our frames are fun and that children love to wear them. The new emoji frames tick all of the boxes."
The ‘emoji 01’ model features a black exterior and translucent grey interior, with deep-red sides contrasted by yellow emojis. A panda and mixed emotion emoji frame is available, as well as a football themed frame. The ‘emoji 04’ model is available in a brown and green two-tone frame, with the ‘three wise monkeys’ emojis on the arms.
