Shamir has launched the Autograph InTouch lens with AsWorn technology. 

Described as a “multi-purpose progressive lens,” the new product is said to address the new needs and challenges that progressive lens wearers who are on-the-go face, including digital device users. 

The lens is designed to ensure easy close-up focus on small text within the range of 40–70cm, which is used for handheld technology, and offers a reading area and intermediate viewing area that are up to 22% broader. 

Shamir explained that the new lens is optimised to the wearer’s head-eye-hand position when using a handheld device. It is also personalised for the wearer according to prescription and frame choice to ensure “maximum performance,” the company concluded.
