Lyle & Scott Eyewear is launched with 36 styles

Dunelm Optical reveals the latest designer brand added to its portfolio

British lifestyle brand Lyle & Scott

Dunelm Optical has announced the addition of a popular designer brand to its eyewear collections, British lifestyle brand, Lyle & Scott (pictured).

The company’s 36 new Lyle & Scott frames were launched at Optrafair earlier this month (1–3 April, Birmingham NEC).

Lyle & Scott was founded in 1874 as a manufacturer of authentic Scottish knitwear. The brand is synonymous with quality and craftsmanship.

Probably best known for its range of golf clothing, the brand offers an extensive range of premium clothing, accessories and footwear.

The brand’s distinctive golden eagle logo has been spotted on celebrities such as footballers David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo, actors Tom Hardy and Idris Elba, as well as bands such as the Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and singer Harry Styles.

Dunelm Optical’s commercial director, David Baker, said: “We have been searching for another High Street designer brand to fit into our portfolio and we are delighted to welcome Lyle & Scott on board.”

“A superb collection of 36 enticing new frames was showcased at Optrafair. We firmly believe this new range will have wide appeal across the age spectrum and we anticipate a great deal of interest,” he concluded.
