Free cocktails and a live DJ will celebrate the launch of Dunelm Optical styles at Optrafair and the addition of a new High Street designer name
27 February 2017
Eyewear, lenses and cases company Dunelm Optical will be unveiling over 70 new frame styles from its 2017/18 collection at Optrafair (1-3 April, Birmingham NEC)
The company highlights that there will be an exciting mix of striking contemporary and classic designs on offer at the show for men, women, teenagers and children, to suit all budgets.
There will also be new styles from designers Paul Costelloe and Janet Reger. Aliza Reger, the owner of the luxury lingerie brand Janet Reger, will be making a special guest appearance at the show on the Dunelm Optical stand G70 on Sunday (2 April). Practitioners will be able to view the latest frame designs from the Janet Reger collection and speak to Ms Reger personally.
Free cocktails and mocktails, along with other refreshments and a live DJ on the stand, will provide a party atmosphere following the success of the additions at last year’s event.
Dunelm Optical managing director, Peter Beaumont, said: “This year’s exhibition stand is going to be our best ever.
“We’ve got over 70 new frames to launch, including an incredibly exciting, new High Street designer name that blends nicely into our brand portfolio. We’re keeping it a closely-guarded secret to be unveiled at the show,” he revealed.
On the accessories side, Mr Beaumont told OT: “We have a new range of embossed cases that are lower priced and better quality than ever before. These will also be on display at the show, along with our new and exclusive, British-made fabric covered metal cases featuring the latest, enticing designs.”
The company’s lens specialists will be on hand to answer any questions from practitioners about its new lens laboratory.
“All in all, there is everything an independent optician needs to be able to offer a professional, quality service to their customers,” Mr Beaumont concluded.
