New collection of 35 prescription sunglasses is launched

Latest designs for 2017 bring Dunelm Optical’s total sun styles up to 115

Dunelm Sunnies Paul Costelloe

Dunelm Optical has launched its 2017 sunglasses collection of 115 styles, with the company’s design team creating a large range of prescription sunglasses. As a special offer, the company is offering discounts for orders placed before 1 April.

The new collection features a total of 35 prescription sunglasses including seven from Paul Costelloe, five from Janet Reger, five from Retro, 10 from Sunset+ and Sunset, as well as eight for children in the Whiz Kids range.

A signature piece for 2017 is Paul Costelloe ‘Sun 62.’ The full frame in the popular brown mottle acetate has gold-coloured metal sides and a matching metal brow bar.

The company believes it is sure to become a classic, as it is in keeping with the current retro style of keyhole bridges, round shapes and brow bars. The children’s signature piece is Whiz Kids ‘Sun 446,’ with its metal rim aviator shape and style. It is available in pastel pink and pastel blue, with contrasting colours on the sides and a striped inner design.

All Dunelm Optical’s sunglasses are designed to carry prescription lenses and are supplied with UV400 monotint lenses as standard, as well as a free case. Open and lockable display stands are also available free of charge with orders of six or 12 sunglasses.

Dunelm Optical’s managing director, Peter Beaumont, said: “We are delighted to launch our latest range of prescription sunglasses, that brings our total sun range to 115 frames.

“This provides independent opticians with the greatest choice of designer and classic sunglasses for men, women and children, covering all price points,” he concluded.
