Frame company launches distribution business
Kirk & Kirk establishes a distributor arm of its business
16 January 2017
The founders of eyewear company Kirk & Kirk have launched a UK distribution company that is designed to support independent opticians.
Established by Jason and Karen Kirk, Kirk & Kirk Distribution is designed to aid independent practices in the discovery of new eyewear brands, as well as to support them in offering alternatives to the “big brands” that are already well represented in the UK.
Speaking to OT, Mr Kirk explained: “Too many opticians find it challenging to get to the international shows and discover new brands, or alternatives to the big ones that are already represented in the UK. They need options to distinguish themselves from their competitors and give clients a reason to visit their store, which is where Kirk & Kirk Distribution comes in.”
Through Kirk & Kirk Distribution, practitioners will be able to view a trio of European brands at London’s 100% Optical trade show next month (4–6 February). These include Italian sunglasses brand Eyepetiser, as well as Bruno Chaussignand and Hapter, which will be launched during the three-day show.
For more information, and to make an appointment to view any of the collections during 100% Optical, email Kirk & Kirk.
