Optoplast Reykjavik Black Eyes Label collection

The Optoplast Eyewear Company has launched new season frames within its titanium Reykjavik Eyes Black Label collection and High Street fashion brand Oasis.

The 26-piece men’s and women’s ophthalmic collection by Reykjavik Eyes Black Label is renowned in Europe for its folding hinge.

Without the need for screws, the sleek, small and strong hinge on each frame allows for a seamless finish that maintains comfort and performance.

All of the new lightweight frames are hypoallergenic and are available in three colours with custom end tips. They are designed in Iceland and manufactured in Italy from the highest quality beta titanium.

The new styles are inspired and named after the Gods of Norse mythology. They include the unisex ‘Bragi,’ named after the skaldic god of poetry. The round shape is designed to complement the titanium arms, while accents of colour add vibrancy to the look.

With its striking rectangular shaped lenses and contrasting colour of matt navy blue with brushed gold, the men’s frame ‘Hoder’ has been created for those who prefer the understated look.

‘Delling’ is a vibrant women’s cat’s eye shaped frame, named after the goddess of dawn. The vivacious plum and refreshing mint colours help it stand out.

Two new contemporary frames join Oasis Eyewear’s 30-piece optical collection. Each is available in three colour options and named after flowers.

‘Myrtle’ has a classic feminine shape with subtle vintage detailing. The tortoiseshell front and tips are mottled with colour and the frame features metallic gold temples.

‘Nigella’ has a modern, rectangular front, coupled with an intricate houndstooth pattern on the sides.
