Waterside Laboratories has added to its expanding Sunactive lens portfolio, with additions including new high-index photochromics.
With both grey and brown available in 1.6 and 1.67 indices, the new additions are said by the company to offer ‘value’ alternatives.
Waterside Laboratories’ managing director, Chris Smith, said: “Our Sunactive products now comprise one of the most extensive ranges of photochromic lenses on the market, including mid-index options in six colours, and we are delighted to now incorporate these new high-index additions.”
Mr Smith added: “Free-form technology enables us to produce a totally comprehensive range in both single vision and all the exclusive progressive designs we offer, from Infinity Plus2, our well proven entry-level varifocals, through to our truly bespoke design Elysium, with its visual lifestyle analysis app.”
New products for 2017 also include Waterside’s BlueCut UV protection, high index clear 1.6 and 1.67 lenses, which are offered in both single-vision and progressive designs.
Supplied with the company’s Pureview easy-clean, anti-reflection coating as standard, the lenses are said to offer valuable protection from potentially damaging blue light.
The coating is offered with a two-year guarantee due to its scratch resistance.
