Dunelm Optical has launched its new Retro frames collection for 2016, aimed at young adults through to 40-somethings.
The 29 new designs include distinctive acetates and lightweight metals, combining statement frame styles with strong but wearable colours.
New design ‘Retro 347’ (pictured) is said to encapsulate the company’s approach for 2016, teaming a wood-effect front with contrasting colour pop interior and lightweight metal sides.
With the trend for bold, thick frames continuing, the latest Retro range features several strong acetate styles. ‘Retro 345’ marries a heavy-rimmed cat’s eye style with a choice of side patterns, including animal print and floral designs.
The collection also includes a number of fashionable round frames, with both acetate and lightweight metal styles available in a range of modern colourways, such as ‘Retro 349’ in burnt orange.
Dunelm Optical managing director, Peter Beaumont, said: “The Retro collection truly represents the best in British eyewear. Taking inspiration from current trends and moving them to the next level yet remaining eminently wearable, is key to its popularity amongst a young, fashion-focused customer base.
“Our new designs for 2016 are a unique proposition that offer the statement spectacles wearer a greater choice than ever before,” he concluded.
